My passion is empowering people to live life truthfully and authentically. For the past 19 years, I have been a researcher and clinical interviewer at The Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention and have contributed to a wide range of publications and projects.
I have a strong commitment to social justice and as such have travelled Australia running various training and education programs including Suicide Prevention, Anxiety for Adolescents, Family and Domestic Violence Awareness, Parenting Workshops and Mindfulness, and I have presented as a guest speaker at many events including World Suicide Prevention Days.
As a psychologist, I have a broad range of experience which includes working in the Government sector with incarcerated criminal offenders, at headspace with adolescents and young adults, as the QLD Clinician for headspace School Support, a suicide postvention service, and as the Principal Psychologist at a busy private Psychology Practice.
As the mother to a young daughter, my passion for women's rights supercedes the academic and working world, and is a true, inner passion.
