We can all play a powerful role in addressing domestic and family violence.
Our jobs, schools, sports, and community activities bring us together. These environments can foster a shared purpose and a sense of belonging. At times, they may also be the only places where people experiencing domestic and family violence feel safe.
We partner with workplaces, sports clubs, and community groups to educate leaders and teams on how to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence, respond when someone is impacted, and offer referral support. Our goal is to build safer cultures, foster understanding, and create long-term solutions that champion wellbeing.
We are a White Ribbon Australia Approved Training Partner for organisations participating in the White Ribbon Australia Workplace Accreditation Program.
As your partner in domestic violence prevention, we offer:
Content training
Challenge DV designs and delivers a range of content training programs for your workplace, tailored to your needs, goals, audience and internal supports. This includes targeted training programs relevant to specific roles, online modules that allow participants to learn at their own pace, in-person and virtual group workshops, and 1:1 coaching for key personnel. Covering essential domestic and family violence topics, our programs are underpinned by tested and proven frameworks and are continually updated to reflect the latest research and trends. They are delivered by experienced, qualified and committed facilitators who bring decades of expertise in domestic and family violence prevention. We limit group sizes to ensure each participant has a voice and can take part in a psychologically safe way.
Change management
We understand that while domestic and family violence prevention is what we do every day, many organisations appreciate some guidance when it comes to cultural initiatives. Challenge DV provides comprehensive assessments of organisational culture, strategic advice on policy, and ongoing pathway support, working closely with organisations to create safer, more inclusive environments that prioritise proactive response to domestic and family violence.
Maturity assessments, audit, and advisory
We assess existing capability statements, initiatives and culture maturity, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. This gives organisations a robust launchpad for building a culture that prioritises safety and respect. Tailored advisory services: From developing internal communication strategies to providing the tools needed to enhance staff awareness and readiness, we guide organisations in implementing best practices for domestic and family violence response.

More than just compliance, our policy guidance focuses on building practical, effective strategies and entrenching a safe, supportive and inclusive culture where people can truly thrive.
Pathway support
We offer scheduled check-ins, updates and refresher sessions as required, ensuring continuous guidance and support based on agreed needs.
Online courses
Using our market leading Recognise, Respond and Refer framework, we provide a broad overview of what domestic and family violence is, why we need to address it, and the breadth of its impact, plus how to offer support to someone who may be impacted. Powered by Go1, our eLearning is accessible, engaging, interactive and regularly updated. Elements of the content can be tailored for Australian and international markets. The modules are offered at a competitive rate over a 12-month subscription period.
Consulting
We offer bespoke programs to enhance your organisation’s capability to respond to domestic and family violence, embed awareness, reduce stigma, and entrench a safe and supportive workplace culture. Our consulting service, known as Challenge Zero, is a five-step model guiding sustainable cultural change and supporting continuous improvement to cultivate the maturity of workplace enablers. It begins with an initial assessment of your existing workplace health and safety practices, then, using supporting tools and resources, we work hand-in-hand to develop a customised action plan that targets areas of growth. We bring your leaders and teams on the change journey, resulting in solutions that work for them.
An inclusive, collaborative approach
Our programs are evidence based and trauma informed, spanning various subject matters and geographical locations, including lived experience, culturally and linguistically diverse, First Nations, LGTBIQ+, those living with disabilities, youth and older Australians, as well as other Australian communities. Understanding the unique circumstances of each group ensures authentic, relatable content and effective, tailored solutions that address real-world challenges faced by those impacted by domestic violence.
Guided by the belief that a successful and sustainable organisational response to domestic violence requires a holistic commitment and long-term vision, developed and delivered in a relevant context, Challenge DV takes the time to get to the heart of each participating group. We provide customised support and training to meet the unique needs of each partner, embed awareness and response into core values and daily operations, and encourage ongoing learning and reflection, to guarantee a lasting impact.
